Summer Safety Updates

Although the 2025 Construction Safety Week has ended, safety remains JE Dunn’s top priority. As a reminder, we recently shifted from traditional hard hats to Type 2 helmets on all jobsites nationwide. Anyone who is on any jobsite at any time must wear their Type 2 helmet with your name visible and the straps securely fastened to be compliant with this important policy. If you do not yet have a Type 2 helmet, please speak with your supervisor.

As we enter the busy summer travel season, be sure you are driving safely in your JE Dunn vehicles, on JE Dunn property, and any time you are driving, regardless of vehicle, location, or purpose. Drive courteously, watch your speed, use Bluetooth for hands-free communication, and never drive when you are impaired. Driving safely is the right thing to do for yourself, your loved ones, and everyone on and around roads. Keep an eye out for more safe driving reminders in June during our Safe Driving Campaign.

Lastly, whether or not you are new to JE Dunn, make sure you are up to date on your safety trainings. These offerings enhance our safety culture and overall project safety in pursuit of injury-free workplaces. Visit the Connect page to learn more or contact Senior Safety Manager Jerry Sanchez.
